Ragnarok M: Eternal Love - Job Class Guide

Choosing a class in Ragnarok is usually one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make. You can only change your job once, so it’s best to really think about which one you want. That said, here’s what you need to know about the Job class in Ragnarok M Eternal Love.
There are a total of six different classes in the game, each with their own specific strengths and play styles:
  • Swordsman – A physical melee fighter with high attack and defense
  • Acolyte – A magical ranged fighter who uses magic and supportive abilities
  • Merchant – A physical melee fighter with high attack, vitality, and dexterity
  • Thief – A physical melee fighter with high burst damage
  • Archer – A physical ranged who specializes in high single-target DPS damage
  • Magician – A magical ranged fighter who can deal AOE damage
Like in most games, the Swordsman is probably the most well-rounded class in Ragnarok M Eternal Love. You can deal some decent damage as well as tank more than a few hits. While you won’t be the best damage dealer, you can probably take down some of the stronger enemies in the game.
If you’re new to Ragnarok M Eternal Love, you might want to consider starting out as a Swordsman. That said, if you’re looking the best damage dealer in the game, you can’t go wrong with the Archer.
This class can pressure enemies from afar, giving you more than enough time to escape if the enemy chases you. You’re bogged down by your low health pool and lack of AOE options, but you can pretty much tear down any enemy that comes your way.
Magicians are also powerful glass cannons, although they lack the sheer DPS the archer has. While the acolyte can heal, they can’t do as much damage as the other classes. You’re better off being the healer if you plan on playing with a party than alone in Ragnarok M Eternal Love.
Thieves, on the other hand, are excellent in PvP fights thanks to their sneaking abilities. Thanks to their dodging abilities, they can also “take” plenty of hits despite their low health pool. Finally, merchants are great tanks that are decent for solo play if you focus on building their strength. Otherwise, they’re better off making money with their passive abilities.

All that said, the best class does alternate between both the Archer and the Swordsman. Those new to Ragnarok M Eternal Love might want to pick up the Swordsman to get a good feel of the game.
Meanwhile, if you want a job with unbridled damage, you really can’t go wrong with the Archer. Just keep in mind that you can’t really control crowds of enemies since you specialize in sniping specific targets from afar.
That’s pretty much everything you need to know about job class in Ragnarok M Eternal Love.
